what is the destiny of
a cactus?
to be consumed, to rot;
ultimately, to die.
is this fate, however,
what the cactus strives for?
does he make himself
welcoming to disaster?
no, he covers himself in
weaponry and survives on
little.
for though death is his
fate,
it is not his
sole purpose.
